Please join the IIT-Jules F. Knapp Entrepreneurship Center on September 29th for a lecture focusing on patents: Boom or Bust - What Every Entrepreneur Should Know about Today's Environment.

The economy may be upside down, but patent valuations continue to climb and smart money continues to invest in great ideas.  Great patent portfolios can swing start-up exit valuations up to 50%.  This talk will address the changing environment and what high-tech entrepreneurs should know to form improved strategies and execute good plans.

OurCEC Logo speaker, Gary Grube, is president and CEO of the Caerus Institute of Open Innovation, where he utilizes his skills for connecting emerging technologies to future market opportunities and creating early inventions and patents around those spaces. As the former CTO of Motorola's $5 billion Commercial, Government, and Industrial Solutions, he has 108 issued patents in wireless, semiconductors, software, system architectures and standards enablers.
