As many of us know, networking is THE most effective approach to getting a job. At at least 60% - some report even higher statistics - of all jobs are found by networking. However, once we have exhausted tapping on our personal contacts, our networking efforts can run out of steam. While online professional networks, such as Linked In, can be helpful, we believe that the best networking takes place face-to-face. Our own personal quest to discover local networking events revealed a very dismal fact: there is severe scarcity of networking events meeting with regularity in Chicago. It is out of this frustration that we saw a real opportunity to fill this void in the community with our own networking events.
