Our panel will examine various business cases covering life science, technology and software start-up and early stage companies, then debate the appropriate IP strategy for each of the businesses based on the case presented. The discussion will include the cost of pursuing various IP protection options, the business interest being promoted by the IP strategy and the relative value of various protection methods.
Our multi-disciplined panel will include intellectual property attorneys, early stage investors and senior executives whose businesses depend on IP strategy for survival, so the debate promises to be lively and enlightening.
The panel will be moderated by Jude Sullivan, partner in the Chicago office of K&L Gates, and will include individuals from legal, technology and higher education.
